United Arab Emirates, Dubai, 25th November 2024: Brighton College Dubai has proudly been recognised with the prestigious Emirates Labour Market Award, an esteemed accolade established by the UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court.

Approved by the UAE Cabinet, this annual award celebrates impactful contributions across sectors such as education, real estate, healthcare and social work by private sector companies, employees and business service centres.

Brighton College Dubai’s recognition in the Ministry’s top Diamond category highlights its commitment to excellence in labour practices within the education sector. This distinction brings valuable benefits, including discounts on Ministry services. Valid until November 2025, the Diamond category highlights the College’s leadership in enhancing workforce well-being, boosting productivity and supporting a sustainable economic environment.

The Emirates Labour Market Award outlines the importance of best practices in creating a thriving business environment. By recognising organisations that uphold employee rights and enhance workforce satisfaction, the award sets benchmarks for improving quality of life and advancing the UAE’s national competitiveness.

His Excellency Dr. Abdulrahman Abdulmanan Al Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, Acting Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of the Emirates Labour Market Award, said: “The private sector is a cornerstone of the UAE’s local business environment, a relationship cultivated over five decades. The Emirates Labour Market Award recognizes the invaluable contributions of companies, employees, and business service centres that enhance the competitiveness of the UAE’s economy. As we respond to rapid global changes, we are guided by an integrated governance framework that prioritizes skilled, talented individuals who drive growth across sectors. The award also strengthens the public-private partnership, inspired by the UAE’s visionary leadership, creating a sustainable, world-leading ecosystem.”

Mr Simon Crane, Head Master of Brighton College Dubai said: “We are incredibly proud to receive the Emirates Labour Market Award, a true reflection of our team’s dedication and our commitment to creating a workplace that champions well-being and growth. At Brighton College Dubai, we believe that a thriving workforce is the foundation of educational excellence, and this recognition motivates us to keep raising the bar and making a positive impact in the UAE’s vibrant labour market.”

Mr Craig Lamshed, General Manager of Bloom Education, leading Brighton Colleges UAE stated: “In today’s thriving economy, staying competitive means prioritising the well-being and development of our people. Achieving Diamond status solidifies Brighton College Dubai’s commitment to building a supportive and progressive workplace that champions employee rights and satisfaction.
